These web fonts are integrated by accessing a server at Adobe (in the USA). To the best of our knowledge, Adobe stores at least the IP address of the browser of the end device of the visitor to the SANTIAGO websites. You can find more information in Typekit's privacy policy, which you can access here: www.adobe.com/privacy/typekit.html
6. Google Analytics
If you have given your consent, Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, is used on this website. The controller for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").
a. Scope of the processing
Google Analytics uses cookies that enable your use of our website to be analysed. The information collected by the cookies about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
In Google Analytics 4, the anonymisation of IP addresses is activated by default. Due to IP anonymisation, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
During your visit to the website, your user behaviour is recorded in the form of "events". Events can be:
Page views
First visit to the website
Start of the session
Your "click path", interaction with the website
Scrolls (whenever a user scrolls to the bottom of the page (90%))

Your approximate location (region)
Your IP address (in truncated form)
Technical information about your browser and the end devices you use (e.g. language setting, screen resolution)

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your (pseudonymous) use of the website and to compile reports on website activity. The reports provided by Google Analytics are used to analyse the performance of our website.
c. Recipients
Recipients of the data are/may be
Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (as processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR)
Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA
Alphabet Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA
It cannot be ruled out that US authorities may access the data stored by Google.
d. Transfer to third countries
Insofar as data is processed outside the EU/EEA and there is no level of data protection corresponding to the European standard, we have concluded EU standard contractual clauses with the service provider to establish an appropriate level of data protection. The parent company of Google Ireland, Google LLC, is based in California, USA. A transfer of data to the USA and access by US authorities to the data stored by Google cannot be ruled out. The USA is currently considered a third country from a data protection perspective. You do not have the same rights there as within the EU/EEA. You may not be entitled to any legal remedies against access by authorities.
e. Storage period
The data sent by us and linked to cookies is automatically deleted after 12 months. Data whose retention period has expired is automatically deleted once a month.
f. Legal basis
The legal basis for this data processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.
g. Revocation
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by accessing the cookie settings HERE and changing your selection there. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation.
Alternatively, you can prevent the storage of cookies from the outset by configuring your browser software accordingly. However, if you configure your browser to reject all cookies, this may restrict the functionality of this and other websites. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by
not giving your consent to the setting of cookies or by downloading and installing the browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics HERE You can find more information on the terms of use of Google Analytics and on data protection at Google at https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/de/ and at https://policies.google.com/?hl=de.
7. Social media
EP uses various social media channels to provide information on current topics such as new publications or blog articles. On our website, you will find links to our presence on the social media services of LinkedIn, Xing and squeaker. You can recognise links to the websites of the social media services by the respective company logo. When you click on a link to a social media service, a connection is established to the servers of the social media service. This tells the social media service's servers that you have visited our website.
Please note that once you are on the pages of a social media service, we have no influence on the scope, type and purpose of data processing by the respective provider. For more information on the use of your data by the social media services linked on our website, please refer to the privacy policy of the respective social media service.
Further data is transferred to the provider of the social media service. These are, for example
Address of the website on which the activated link is located
Date and time the website was accessed or the link was activated
Information about the browser and operating system used IP address
If you are already logged in to the corresponding social media service at the time the link is activated, the provider of the social media service may be able to determine your user name and possibly even your real name from the transmitted data and assign this information to your personal user account with the social media service. You can exclude this possibility of assignment to your personal user account if you log out of your user account beforehand.
The servers of the social media services are located in the USA and other countries outside the European Union. The data may therefore also be processed by the provider of the social media service in countries outside the European Union. Please note that companies in these countries are subject to data protection laws that do not generally protect personal data to the same extent as is the case in the Member States of the European Union.
8. information, correction, blocking, deletion, cancellation
We are happy to provide you with free information about which personal data has been stored about you. You also have the right to have incorrect data corrected and to have the processing of your personal data restricted or deleted. If applicable, you can also assert your right to data portability. If you believe that your data has been processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. Unless your request conflicts with a legal obligation to retain data, you have the right to have your data erased. Data stored by us will be deleted if it is no longer required for its intended purpose and there are no statutory retention periods. If deletion cannot be carried out because the data is required for authorised legal purposes, data processing will be restricted. In this case, the data will be blocked and not processed for other purposes. If you wish to assert one of these rights, please send a request by e-mail to datenschutzbeauftragter@jules.industries. You can revoke any consent you have given, e.g. for the storage of data, the e-mail address and its use, at any time by sending an e-mail to datenschutzbeauftragter@jules.industries.
